Some results and discussion about size dependence SWNT nucleation

1. Very small catalyst particle will produce one-dimentional amorphous carbon formation instead of SWNT.

2. The smallest catalyst particle suitable for SWNT nucleation contains 20 iron atoms (diameter about 0.6-0.7 nm)

3.Smallest SWNT structure nucleated on the catalyst particle surface is 0.6-0.7 nm

4. Nucleated SWNT structure always has same diameter with the catalyst particle
