Welcome to my home page. My name is Kim Bolton and I am an associate professor at the University College of Borås and Göteborg University. In addition to my teaching in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, I coordinate and co-supervise several projects. I'll keep this page short and let you select the topics that interest you.

Recent and current projects:

Computational research into                 

• carbon nanotubes (e.g., for nanoelectronics)

• stratospheric chemistry (e.g., to prevent ozone hole formation)

• phase equilibria calculations (e.g, for petrochemical distillation)

• water-polymer interactions (e.g., for high voltage applications)

Pedagogical studies of

• Computer simulations for active learning of chemical concepts

• Linking Asian and European Universities in implementation of sustainable technology

I also co-organise the

• center for computing in Sjuhärad

• 6th international conference on the science and applications of nanotubes
