My scientific activity during the period 1971-1998 was
mainly concentrated on the development of the theory
of electron transport in small conductors
and in microstructures. The most important directions
of my research can be summarized as follows
(references are to my publication list):
Electron-electron correlations and Coulomb blockade of tunneling in
small size junctions [3,6, 9, 44, 50, 67, 75, 79, 96, 97, 103].
Relaxation phenomena and point contact spectroscopy of phonons in
metals and semiconductors [11, 12, 19, 20, 22,-29, 31-33, 38].
Tunnel- and ballistic quantum transport in microstructures
[27, 30, 34, 35, 37, 39, 41, 42, 45, 48, 53, 59, 64, 69, 73, 74].
Superconductivity and Josephson effects in Coulomb blockade systems
and tunnel junctions with semiconductor barriers [16, 21, 24-27, 56, 57,
66, 70, I].
Mesoscopic superconductivity [56, 57, 63, 72, 76, 82, 99, 104, 107,
108].
Non-equilibrium mesoscopics [61, 65, 68, 71, 77, 78, 82, 83-85, 87, 88,
91, 92, 95, 105, 106].
My general interests of research:
- Electronic properties of nanoconductors
- Josephson transport in S-N-S structures under irradiation
(optics of Andreev levels and dephasing mechanisms).
- Microwave dynamics of strongly correlated electrons
- Andreev quantization for strongly correlated electrons
- Electronics of nanocomposites
- Metal-organic granular structures
- Josephson S-N-S arrays
- Magnetic nanocomposites
