Weekly program

Week 5

Monday February 17, in Delfinen at 10.00 a.m.

Lectures on
    * Binary compounds, trends (BL);
    * Perturbation Theory and Diffusion in ZnS Structures & Oxygen Storage in Ceria (BL);
    * Elementary excitations and thermo-physical properties (MP).

Monday - Friday:

0) Please, register.
1) Computer exercizes: Now the full list of computer projects is available. Look up the booking list to see when the relevant supervisor is available for a brief introduction, or write her/him an email.
2) Project: The project list will successively grow. Have a look now and then to see what the problems are like. If you want advice, contact any of the supervisors (some have marked their available time in the booking list). If you have made up your mind: Sign up on the sign-up list.
3) Homework problems: So far no one has delivered solutions to set #1. As soon as that has happened or upon request, set  #2 will be made available. Write an email to Bengt when you start, please.
4) Quiz: The second one will be available during the week. Before taking it: Read the the expanded question list and get familiar with typical questions!

Friday February 21,  in Delfinen at 11.00 - 11.30 a.m. (reserve time for presentations) and noon - 1.00 p.m.

Lecture on
    * Time-dependent DFT and excitation properties of materials (SG).
