Course content:

Binding in solids. Crystal structure. Electrons in solids. Transport, optical and magnetic properties of metals and semiconductors. Concept of quasiparticles. Phonons. Electron-phonon interaction. Many-body effects. Superconductivity. Magnetic ordering.
