SQUBIT-2 is a continuation of the SQUBIT project.

Superconducting technologies have the unique potential for realizing
compact solid-state devices with controllable macroscopic quantum properties
and long coherence time.

Josephson junction technology currently represents one of the most realistic
and promising approaches to a proof-of-concept solid state quantum computer.
