In the research group, there are three growth systems.

MBE I (Varian MBE-360) is used to grow As- and Sb-based semiconductor materials. The system is planned for growth of inorganic/organic materials.

MBE II (Varian GEN II Modular) is used for growth of III-nitrides and related heterostructures.

OMBE (Homemade vaccum systerm, which is connected to MBE-I) is currently under construction and is loaded with a PTCDA source.

High vaccum systerm. This is a diffusion pumped systerm, which is being set-up for growth of organic layers.

In this preparation room, we have one outgassing system (chamber) and the DI- water unit.

Also, there are two cryogenics (top right) to the two cryopumps, which are connected to the growth chamer and the entry/exit chamber, respectively.
