Leif Axelsson

Physics

I'm a Ph. D student in the Subatomic Physics group at the department of Physics, Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
At university I studied "Matematisk Naturvetenskaplig linje" and the work of my Diploma thesis was made in Orsay, outside Paris, where I was analysing an experiment regarding nuclear astrophysics.
The aim of my Ph. D is experimental investigation of light unstable nuclei near at or on the drip-lines, i.e. halo-nuclei and other exotic phenomena.
Facilities used for our experiments are CERN, GANIL, GSI and JYFL.
