Bilayer graphene spectral functions
Bilayer graphene holds a 2D electron gas which is particularly interesting for applications because of a tuneable band gap and tuneable effective interaction strength.
We have studied single particle spectral functions for bilayer graphene in the (zero band gap) low energy limit using RPA and self-consistent GW to handle the long range Coulomb interaction. In addition to regular quasiparticles we find plasmarons, which are composite quasiparticle-plasmon excitations. arXiv:1301.3512
