Quasiparticles in a paramagnetic Mott insulator

 

Using our distributional exact diagonalization method we study the paramagnetic Mott insulator within DMFT. Millions of poles for the self energy gives an exceptionally high real frequency resolution and the surprising outcome that there are well defined electronic quasiparticles.
