Effective model for Pair density wave superconductor
We suggest and explore a model with microscopic π junction type pair-hopping which has a mean field ground state which is a periodically modulated superconductor, a so called Pair density wave (PDW). We find two near degenerate low energy states, that either breaks translational invariance (PDW or LO), or time reversal and parity (FF) as seen in the phase diagram shown. We also study how this systems responds to uniform supercurrent. See link publications for the paper.
