THE COURSE will be given in English. Knowledge of physics and mathematics only at the level of a Swedish gymnasium is assumed.
EXAM: writen exam
2004 ONSALA TRIP:Bus will be on Friday Feb. 27 at 13.00 next to the "Kopparbunker" at Chalmers. Students will arrive at the Observatory at about 13.45. The Observatory will be shown by Christer Andersson. A lecture on Onsala's scientific activities by Gustaf Rydbeck and Magnus Thomasson. Coffe and buns will be provided 15.00. The bus with students will leave the observatory about 16.15 and come back to Chalmers at about 17.00.
The observed motion of stars around the supermassive (more than two millions solar masses) black hole at the centre of our Galaxy.
