Welcome, wanderer!

You have just found my homepage on the net, an obscure place with light dreading creatures which seldom, if ever, show themselves in full daylight. A place which is hardly marked on any map, except as vague references to prehistoric legends. Shadow is for ever prevailing here and a seemingly living mist presents the landscape with a dreary, unreal shape. At irregular intervals someone from the outer world finds the way here, most frequently a wanderer who has lost his bearings or a criminal who is escaping the law. Sometimes an adventurer who has heard stories about imeasurable treasures comes to this land, treasures left by the inhabitants who lived here before the dusk. There are no treasures here, off course, and if there ever were any they have long ago been carried underground by the creatures which roam here, never to be seen by the light of day again. Some legends say that this place has always been veiled in shadow, since the dawn of time. The few humans who has returned from here with their mind intact have told stories of huge shadows which move in complete silence and horrifying screams of unimaginable terror. But nobody has seen any of the creatures at close range, at least not the ones who have returned...

Research

I am currently working as a PhD student in the SET group (Single Electron Tunneling), examining charging and Hall effects in two-dimensional Josephson junction arrays. I did my diploma work in this group during autumn 1995.

You may download my diploma thesis to print it:

Warning!

A maniac is loose!

I have an Amiga 500, a very nice computer which, alas, is beginning to get a bit outdated. In high school we were four students who owned the Amiga 500 and we had a small demogroup called CHRONOS. We used to have a homepage, but it's gone now.

Do you want to know what I look like? Some people call me Tomten (=Santa). Do you think you will get any Christmas presents from this chap?

I have a modest record collection which includes LP records, Maxi singles as well as Vinyl singles. I am currently also the proud owner of no less than twentyone CD albums.
Some favourites: Björk, Kate Bush, Deep Purple, Lars Demian, Fleetwood Mac, Imperiet, Janis Joplin, Alannah Myles, Nico, Sinead O'Connor, Pogues, Michelle Shocked and, the greatest of them all, Tom Waits.

When I was at a used record market once I got a record bag with a funny comic (in Swedish). Check out. (685x503 grayscale gif, 108 kB)

Maybe you want to download the full size original scan (2738x2012 b/w gif, 140kB).

You are welcome to read my poor excuses for poems and other literature, but, alas, only in Swedish.

Why not visit my friends' homepages:
